HEIO Player is strictly a media player software application. We do not provide, host, sell, stream, or distribute any playlists, video content, broadcast channels, or multimedia of any kind. The application ships without any content. Users are solely responsible for sourcing and using their own, legally obtained content.

2. Bring Your Own Content (BYOC)
HEIO Player is a tool to play media files and playlists that you supply. You must have the legal right to access and play any content loaded into the application. We do not verify, moderate, or have access to the content you play.

3. License Usage
By purchasing a license, you are buying the right to use the software on your specific device (identified by Device ID / MAC address). This license grants access to the software's features only — not to any media content.

4. Prohibited Use
Using HEIO Player to access content you do not have legal rights to is strictly prohibited and violates these Terms. We reserve the right to terminate licenses used for copyright infringement without refund.

5. Liability
Home Entertainment IO is not liable for the quality, availability, or legality of any content provided by third parties or by the user. We are not liable for any copyright claims arising from user-loaded content.

6. Changes
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the current Terms.

1. Data Collection
We respect your privacy. We only collect the minimum data needed for operation:

• Device ID / MAC Address (license identification)
• Playlist URL (stored locally and/or for sync where applicable)
• Anonymous QoE telemetry (no personally identifiable information)

2. Payment Data
We do not store credit card details. Transactions are securely processed by Stripe.

3. Usage Tracking
We do not monitor, log, or analyze what you watch. Your viewing habits remain private. We collect only aggregated, anonymous quality metrics (buffering events, connection type) to improve the app.

4. Data Storage
Device-linked data is stored on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure (300+ global edge locations). Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest.

If the application does not work on your device due to a technical error our support team cannot fix, you are entitled to a full refund within 7 days of purchase.

2. Non-Refundable Cases

• Your playlist/content stopped working (we are not responsible for content)
• You purchased the wrong license type and activated it
• You changed your TV to a non-supported device
