1 Data Collection

We respect your privacy. We collect only the minimum data needed for the app to function:

• Device ID — used for license identification. Never linked to personal identity.
• Playlist URL — stored locally on your device and/or in our edge infrastructure for sync where applicable.
• Anonymous QoE telemetry — aggregated quality metrics (buffering events, connection type). Contains no personally identifiable information.

2 Payment Data

We do not store credit card numbers or payment details. All transactions are securely processed by Stripe, Inc. in compliance with PCI-DSS standards. We receive only a transaction confirmation and your email address (used solely for license delivery).

3 Usage Tracking

We do not monitor, log, or analyze what you watch. Your viewing habits are strictly private.

We collect only anonymous, aggregated quality metrics to improve app performance. These metrics cannot be used to identify you or trace your activity.

4 Data Storage & Security

Device-linked data is stored on Cloudflare Workers infrastructure across 300+ global edge locations. All data is:

• Encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2+
• Encrypted at rest
• Never sold or shared with third parties

5 Content Responsibility

HEIO Player is a media player application only. It does not provide, host, or distribute any media content. The user is solely responsible for the playlist URLs they configure in the app.
